Three Partner's Hero-Sired Turf Stakes Horses In One Hour
08/17/2009- Everywhere you look PARTNER’S HERO’s runners are winning! Over the weekend of Aug. 15, he had sons and daughters in the winner’s circle from coast to coast. Two were stakes winners, and two completed a PARTNER’S HERO stakes exacta!
The big gun, Rob Ry Farm and Jayne Marie Slysz’s HEROS REWARD (above left), returned to his winning ways, easily capturing Laurel Park’s Mister Diz S on Saturday by more than a length. It was the seventh stakes win in the millionaire’s glorious career, and sets him up perfectly for a fall campaign. Next stop—Maryland Million Day.
Rounding out the exacta was NATURAL SEVEN, who has been close in stakes before, missing by a nose in last year’s Maryland Million Turf Sprint.
The 2-year-old TWO NOTCH ROAD rewarded PARTNER’S HERO aficionados who bet his offspring with a stunning $216.40 win ticket by taking Monmouth Park’s Continental Mile S over nine others. It was the first win for the dark bay Virginia-bred gelding owned by his trainer, Glenn Thompson.
Other winners over the weekend included Our Partner, who turned in a lucrative score at Del Mar; Power in Truth, another winner at Laurel; and Everylittlebreeze, victorious at Mountaineer.
When you need winner, call on a hero!
