Pennsylvania is a land of opportunity. And Northview PA offers Pennsylvania breeders the best of all worlds at its stunning facility in Peach Bottom.

Opened for business in 2009, Northview PA is situated on 180 acres of fertile farm land in picturesque Lancaster County, the eight-stall stallion barn, breeding shed, management and booking office, and two 20-stall broodmare/foaling barns have been completed by expert Amish craftsmen at B&D Builders. And additional improvements are constantly in the works. . . with an eye for detail to ensure the best facilities for your mares and their foals – the stars of the future!

Northview PA has the best stallion roster in the state, bar none. The horsepower residing at Northview PA is led by three of the most important established sires in the region – JUMP START, E DUBAI and SMARTY JONES.

Northview has had a tremendous history of launching the careers of young sires, and three of the most promising – FAIRBANKS, LOVE OF MONEY and MEDALLIST – are rising stars in the region.

Add in dazzling Gr. 1 Breeders’ Cup Sprint winner SILVER TRAIN, one of the hottest young stallions in the country who is new to Pennsylvania for 2012, and there is no need to look further than Northview PA for the right fit for your breeding program.

JUMP START, one of the most consistent sires in nation, is having his best year ever in 2011. The son of A.P. Indy is the highest ranked U.S. sire standing outside of Kentucky, and his six stakes winners for the year include two top 3-year-olds. His three-time Derby winning son, PRAYER FOR
RELIEF
, has $1 million in earnings while capturing four starts in 2011, including the Gr. 2 Super Derby, Gr. 2 West Virginia Derby and Gr. 3 Iowa Derby. The classic-running PANTS ON FIRE has earned in excess of $750,000 for the year, with victories in the Gr. 2 Louisiana Derby and Gr. 3 Pegasus Stakes.

E DUBAI is an exquisitely-bred son of Mr. Prospector from the family of champions Raven’s Pass and Rainbow View. The multiple graded stakes winner, with progeny earnings in excess of $3 million/year for the past four years, is in the midst of the best season of his career. The international sire has graded/group winners in the U.S., U.A.E. and Panama in 2011, led by Gr. 2 Godolphin Mile winner SKYSURFERS and Santa Anita Gr. 2 San Pasqual S. winner AGGIE ENGINEER. The sire of 25 stakes winners from six crops to race has eight stakes winners in 2011 to lead all sires in the Northeast.

SMARTY JONES remains one of the most popular and attractive sire prospects in the nation. The darling of Pennsylvania when he captured the first two jewels of the Triple Crown while undefeated, SMARTY JONES returned to his home state with an excitement rarely seen in the industry. And he continues to prove his status as a top sire, as he is the third-ranked stallion in the Mid-Atlantic region. His current stakes winners include Santa Anita Gr. 3 winner and Gr. 1-placed GILDED GEM and graded stakes-placed CONCEALED IDENTITY. Of his nearly dozen stakes horses in 2011, more than half are graded runners.

SILVER TRAIN ranked among the top 10 freshman sires in the country in 2010 and is right there again as one of the best sophomore sires of 2011! The handsome dark bay son of major winner Old Trieste, and grandson of A.P. Indy, entered stud after a sensational career on the track. He captured the six-furlong Breeders’ Cup Sprint as a 3-year-old (in 1:08.86), took the esteemed Metropolitan H.-G1 at one mile the next year and had victories in the Gr. 2 Jerome H. and Gr. 2 Tom Fool H., while also placing in three stakes (including the Gr. 1 Cigar Mile). He earned over $1.2 million in 17 starts. The leading sophomore sire in the nation by number of winners (through early October), SILVER TRAIN has sired 13 stakes horses in his first two crops, including Gr. 3 Bay Shore S. winner J J’S LUCKY TRAIN. Among his sales horses in 2011 was a $350,000 OBS March sales 2-year-old!

FAIRBANKS, a multiple graded stakes winner of $879,768 and $1.85-million Saratoga select sales topper by world-renowned champion and the nation’s leading sire the past thee years, Giant’s Causeway, launched his stud career in 2009 with the biggest book of mares for any new Pennsylvania stallion in history. And reviews have been sensational for his first crop of yearlings in 2011, which include a $115,000 Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Eastern Fall sales purchase. Of his 14 yearlings sold to date, they have averaged more than four times his stud fee! In three seasons of racing, FAIRBANKS consistently put up big numbers – in 13 starts on the main track at ages 4 and 5, he recorded Beyers of 100 or higher seven times, with the other six in the 90s – and had a career best 115 Beyer speed figure at Santa Anita in the Tokyo City H.-G3. A half-brother to Gr. 2 winner and $462,854-earner Keats and Gr. 3-placed juvenile Grand Score, Fairbanks is out of a half-sister to Darn That Alarm, Strong Performance and Jiggs Alarm.

LOVE OF MONEY has been rising up the sires ranks with just two crops to race. With modest-sized crops, he has 12 percent stakes horses from starters, including 2011 Gr. 2 Futurity S. winner JACK’S IN THE DECK, who came back to finish third in the Gr. 2 Sanford S. at Saratoga, and Coach Fridge, second in the 2011 Maryland Million Nursery S. That’s two stakes horses from just nine juvenile runners in 2011 (through early October)! The devastatingly easy winner of the Gr. 2 Pennsylvania Derby over a field that included Gr. 1 winner Tapit, millionaire Pollard’s Vision and Gr. 1 Belmont S.-placed Royal Assault, LOVE OF MONEY is a son of one of the best stallions standing outside of Kentucky for the past decade, NOT FOR LOVE, out of a SMARTEN mare.

In his first three crops to race, MEDALLIST has sired 17 percent stakes horses per starters, led by New York-bred champion IBBOYEE, a six-time stakes winner of more than $700,000 from his first crop! From MEDALLIST’s second crop comes TROPHY BOY, who has won or placed in three stakes from four starts, as well as graded stakes-placed Pedaltothemedal. MEDALLIST was the Northeast’s leading sophomore sire by number of stakes winners in 2010. A sensational sprinter by classic winner Touch Gold out of stakes winning, Gr. 1-placed Santaria (by champion sprinter Star de Naskra), MEDALLIST was a graded stakes winner each year he raced, winning four stakes, three in track or stakes record time over three different ovals.
