DANCE WITH RAVENS son RELAY BILL can’t be caught

Relay-Bill800Running like an Olympic star, RELAY BILL shot to the lead and kept going to grab his first stakes victory by three and a quarter lengths in Penn National’s $100,000 Capital City S. on Saturday, Aug. 18 over a soft turf course. It was the fourth start of the 3-year-old’s career, and his second win after his dominating debut on May 3 at his Penn National base with trainer Tim Kreiser. He also has been second once, and was fourth in the Danzig S. in just his second start.

Campaigned by his breeder, James Courtney, RELAY BILL is out of the Polish Numbers mare Angel Lady. He is the third stakes winner this year for DANCE WITH RAVENS, Maryland’s second-leading sire and fifth-ranked in the Mid-Atlantic region, with progeny earnings in excess of $2.2 million in 2012.
