Getting his fourth stakes win of the year and his second consecutive in graded company, he defeated a solid field of the best handicap horses on the East Coast, holding off two-time Grade 1 winner Ron the Greek to win by daylight.

The win in the $750,000 summer test doubled his earnings to more than $880,000 from 17 lifetimes starts for owner/breeder Janis R. Whitham and trainer Ian R. Wilkes.
