Silver Train To Shuttle To Brazil

SilverTrainConfSilver Train (Old Trieste–Ridden in Thestars) will shuttle to Siquiera & Mercadante in Parana, Brazil for the 2012 Southern Hemisphere season.

A winner of four graded races including the Breeders Cup Sprint (G1) and Metropolitan Mile (G1), Silver Train moved to Northview PA in Peach Bottom, Pennsylvania in September 2011 after being purchased for HnR Nothhaft Horseracing LLC by Carl McEntee agent.

“Silver Train has been received very well in the Mid-Atlantic region since his relocation for the 2012 season. In 2011 Silver Train was represented by several stakes horses and was leading second crop sire by number of winners. 2012 began with three year old Zetterholm (NY) winning the Patsyprospect stakes and is aiming for either the Preakness (G1) or Peter Pan (G2). With the ever growing global market, we are delighted that Silver Train will be available to the breeders of Brazil,” commented Carl J. McEntee, Director of Bloodstock for Northview Stallion Station.

“Silver Train will stand in Parana state with the support of Haras Cima, Haras Ponta Pora and Haras Rio Iguassu." said Ricardo Colombo (RBC COIME). "This special horse provides the breeders in Brazil with everything, pedigree, conformation and an exceptional race record”

“Ricardo and I worked together with the shuttle of Smarty Jones in 2011 and it is with great confidence that we are able to continue our relationship," added McEntee.
