For her first stakes score, MISS ADDISON had to reel in determined frontrunner Little Polka Dot, another daughter of ORIENTATE who held on for second in the field of seven.

MISS ADDISON, a dark bay mare owned by Brittlyn Stable Inc., got her fifth career win, all on the turf, from 20 starts, and upped her earnings to $121,655.

The Louisiana stakes-running duo are among 11 stakes horses for ORIENTATE this year, 74 for his career. The Breeders’ Cup Sprint winner and Eclipse champion has sired stakes winners sprinting and going farther than a mile, on the main track, synthetic and turf.
