A sensation when he entered stud in 2009, with 103 mares covered his first year—the most of any stallion in the entire region—FAIRBANKS backed that up as the top-ranked first and second-crop sire in the Mid-Atlantic region! Great looks—a $1.85 million Saratoga yearling sales topper. . . By GIANT’S CAUSEWAY, one of the world’s most sought after sires... Recorded one of the fastest Beyer speed figures of 2007... A multiple graded stakes winner who won easily at a classic distance...FAIRBANKS is the destination for anyone searching for a top-echelon horse at a reasonable price.

In his second crop of 2-year-olds in 2013, he counted seven juvenile winners, including SYNAPSE, winner of the $150,000 My Trusty Cat S., and stakes-placed Respectful Wishes, Norquay and Interchange – nearly 25% stakes horses from juvenile starters! FAIRBANKS’s 2-year-olds remain popular at the sales, with 13 selling for an average of $47,962, topped by a $150,000 colt at the 2013 Fasig-Tipton Midlantic May sale.

A multiple graded stakes winner of $879,768, FAIRBANKS ran a 115 Beyer speed figure when scoring in the 2007 Tokyo City H.-G3 by nearly seven lengths at Santa Anita. Only one other older horse running a distance on dirt had a higher number that year, Eclipse Award winner LAWYER RON.

And FAIRBANKS consistently put up big numbers – in 13 starts on the main track at ages 4 and 5, he recorded Beyers of 100 or higher seven times, with the other six in the 90s. A half-brother to Gr. 2 winner and $462,854-earner KEATS and Gr. 3-placed juvenile GRAND SCORE, FAIRBANKS is out of a half-sister to DARN THAT ALARM, STRONG PERFORMANCE and JIGGS ALARM.
